本文研究AIDS個案，長期ICU與住院治療後，出現嚴重的AIDS併發症如下：HIV/AIDS性腦病、HIV/AIDS藥物性腦病、HIV/AIDS性肺炎、等等由於伺機性感染、造成HIV/AIDS神經損傷，視力缺「損」，生活「失能與致殘狀況」，都造成患者健康陷入困境。本篇研究顯示中醫中藥，針灸，頭面部藥熨，藥枕，溫灸，針藥等等並施，介入治療後有明顯成效。中醫治療對於提升免疫力抑制病毒複製有明顯效果，同時對病毒、藥物、感染等之腦病與神經傳導障礙諸症狀與生活功能的改善中西醫結合治療有極佳改善。 |
| 英文摘要 |
In this paper, we presented with cases of AIDS patients manifesting AIDS after long term hospitalization and ICU stay. Those complications included opportunistic infection such as HIV/AIDS meningitis, HIV/AIDS drug induced aseptic meningitis and HIV/AIDS bacterial pulmonary infections. These infections eventually lead to HIV/AIDS visual impairment, HIV/AIDS associated neurocognitive disorder that resulted in dysfunction and disabilities in daily activities. Our research demonstrated the efficacy in intervention of treatment utilizing Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture , cranial and facial herbal mask , herbal pillow and moxibustion or the combination of modalities mentioned above. Chinese medicine exemplified an excellent clinical outcome in immune function enhancement and viral suppression. The integration of Chinese medicine and Western medicine also ameliorate the neurological transmission disorders caused by drug-induced aseptic meningitis or infectious meningitis and also improve the quality of life brought upon by related disabilities. |
