內分泌腫瘤為起源自內分泌系統的各類腫瘤之通稱，涵蓋範圍極廣，作用範圍遍及全身。由於症狀多變、缺乏特異性且起病隱匿，初期不易診斷，往往歷經數年、求診多種內科門診，直到後期出現腫塊壓迫體徵或多種內分泌異常疾病時才得以確診。可說是一種令人捉摸不定、治療不易的疾病。由臨床經驗可知，中西醫協同治療較純西醫或純中醫的療效更佳，特別是可分泌荷爾蒙的功能性腫瘤，若以手術施行腫瘤切除或減積，先將身體過亢的內分泌病因先行根除，再以中醫藥介入調治，如此可於糾正虛亢並存體質的同時，同時達到預防復發與轉移的目的。內分泌腫瘤涵蓋範圍極廣，病灶可能侷限一處或多處器官，影響範圍卻可能遍及全身，涵蓋範圍包括腦下垂體、下視丘、松果體、甲狀腺、副甲狀腺、胸腺、副神經節、腎上腺皮質及髓質、卵巢、胎盤、胃腸、肺、心……等，透過荷爾蒙正負反饋的作用機制，對人體健康影響可謂既深且鉅。本文簡介臨床常見的內分泌腫瘤及其衍生疾病，並探討西醫治療現況與中醫治療思路。

Endoricne tumor is a general term referring to tumors originating from the endocrine system. Endocrine tumors can affect multiple organs and systems throughout the body. Tumors arising from endocrine systems are notorious for failing early detection and diagnosis due to their characteristics of varied symptoms, lack of specific clinical manifestation, and insidious onset. It usually takes years for patients to find the right diagnosis after seeing different doctors. The confirmed diagnosis usually arises when the tumor starts to cause compression and gives rise to various abnormalities in the endocrine system. Endocrine tumors are known to be unpredictable and challenging to treat. From our clinical experience, the integration of both traditional Chinese medicine and conventional medicine is superior in results compared to using traditional Chinese medicine or conventional medicine solely. The result is especially outstanding in hormone-producing functional tumors when treated with integrative medicine. The initial procedure of surgical removal or reduction of the tumor to eliminate the root cause of the excessive hormonal production, followed by the intervention of traditional Chinese medicine, can correct the constitution of deficiency of Zheng Qi and excess of pathogenic Qi as well as prevent the relapses and metastasis. Endocrine tumors can affect extensively. The lesion might be limited to one or multiple organs but can impact the whole body. The endocrine tumor-affected organs, including the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, pineal gland, thyroid, parathyroid, thymus, paraganglia, adrenal cortex and medulla, ovary, placenta, GI, lung, and heart, etc., can profoundly impact the body's health through the positive and negative feedback function of the hormones. In this article, we will talk about common endocrine tumors and their comorbidities, conventional treatment options, and TCM treatment protocols and patterns.
