中醫常重言精、氣、神，養身治病也常依此原則診治，故有“通則不痛、痛則不通”之指導原則。針灸施治大多本此尋經啟（取）穴，而八會穴是指臟、腑、氣、血、筋、脈、骨、髓等精氣所匯聚的俞穴，故能本此要義，施用就能得事半功倍的效能。 |
| 英文摘要 |
The foundation of traditional Chinese medicine lies in essence , Qi and Spirit. It's also the principle of treatment and wellness preservation. It reflects on the guiding principle of health , that is "when the Qi flows smoothly, the pain is diminished. When the Qi is stagnant, then the pain follows." The treatment of acupuncture also abides by this principle in accordance of meridians and acupoints administration. The eight confluent points are the assembling points of essence of Zhang, Fu, Qi, Xue, tendon, meridians, bone and marrows. The application of eight confleunt points can reach its optimal efficacy if follow this guiding principle. |
