隨著基礎研究與動物實驗的進步,青光眼發病的機轉也有較為清楚的認知,從關注高眼壓轉而成自身抗原的暴露,引起的免疫反應造成神經節細胞的凋亡。能夠越清楚地知道微觀的病理機轉對於中醫的辨證就能更精準的掌握。將青光眼的發病,從高眼壓、星形膠質細胞浸潤、血-視網膜屏障破壞、自體抗原暴露到引起神經節細胞的凋亡,每一過程利用中醫的辨證學,歸納出相對應的證型與可以採用的方劑。考量面相,除了初步的神經保護、神經增強外,神經的再生更是中藥可以著墨之處。

英文摘要

Significant progress along basic research and animal experiment has carried out clearer pathogenesis in glaucoma. From high intraocular pressure to autoantibody, to cause immune response and apoptosis in retinal ganglion cells. The more clear understanding of pathogenesis in glaucoma, the better precise control in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation. From considerations of high intraocular pressure, infiltrating astrocytes, blood-retinal barrier disruption, to some autoantibody exposure causes immune response and apoptosis in retinal ganglion cells, using TCM syndrome differentiation to carefully consider each single process and carry out useful and corresponding medicine. Many findings support the use of TCM as an alternative source of therapy for the treatment degenerative diseases. Therefore, aside from primary neuroprotection, neuroenhancement, the more important is Traditional Chinese Medicine can play a key role in neuroregeneration.
