本文以張建這一位愛國抗日的軍醫教育家為研究對象，探討他在軍醫學校歷經抗戰時期的烽火淬煉之過程，以及對於戰後復員改組為國防醫學院的承先啟後之貢獻。尤其，張建受過國內外正統軍醫訓練的完整背景，加上多年主持軍醫教育行政的完整經歷，對我軍醫發展自有不容抹滅的關鍵影響；然而，從1947年後的生涯際遇卻多隱而不明，導致個人歷史評價未盡周延。凡此，筆者認為有重新深入研究之必要！

This article details the study of Cheung Kin, a patriotic military medical educator during the Japanese occupation period. The article discusses his contributions to the Army Medical College during the war and charts the process of his demobilization after the war and his subsequent work with NDMC. In particular, with formal military medical training received both at home and abroad and the long-term experience administering military medical education, Cheung Kin had an undeniable influence on the development of military medicine in Taiwan. However, because of his reclusive life after 1947, the historical assessment of his life is incomplete. Therefore, the author believes an in-depth study is warranted.
