In recognition of the tangible benefits of flip teaching and mind mapping in enhancing classroom learning effectiveness, and their role in cultivating autonomous learning and bolstering metacognitive skills, this study conducts experimental teaching research, integrating these methodologies into conventional Korean language courses from an in-person language teaching perspective. To provide a more comprehensive analysis of course satisfaction, the survey utilized the Likert five-point scale, focusing on quantitative analysis of four aspects: 'course content, process environment, learning enhancement, and course effectiveness'. Each aspect was followed by open-ended questions to gather student opinions for further qualitative analysis. The findings showed positive feedback across all dimensions; however, the qualitative analysis of 'course content' highlighted the necessity for teachers to pay attention to students' adaptation and integration with new teaching methods in flip teaching. In the 'process environment', emphasis on computer software and hardware support, as well as accurate time and process management, was crucial. Regarding 'learning enhancement', students generally believed that this course model improved metacognitive learning techniques, earning high overall evaluations. Finally, 'course effectiveness' received the highest ratings, particularly excelling in enhancing memory retention. In today's ever-changing environment, information literacy has become a vital competency for teachers, especially in an era dominated by generative artificial intelligence. Teachers must reevaluate the appropriateness of traditional knowledge content and embrace flexible use of information tools, revitalizing learning content, and courageously innovating in teaching materials and methods to keep pace with current trends. |
