Today, there are many learning platforms on the Internet that provide high-quality learning materials and videos, allowing learners to learn independently. However, once learners are connected to the Internet and watch a short teaching video, they are often tempted by more attractive non-learning videos, become addicted to them, and interrupt their learning. For learners, the Internet seems to be helpful on the surface, but it also tempts learners to deviate from learning. Faced with this dilemma, today's learning systems can only rely on learners' own concentration and cannot help learners resist temptation. Before learners have established sufficient self-control, the learning system can first adopt a heteronomous approach to establish learning habits. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a reward-based learning system using a novel network technology. Videos and games on the Internet are no longer a temptation, but a reward for learning. When learners watch learning materials for one minute, they will be rewarded: watch entertainment videos for one minute. This system uses Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technology and can use videos from any learning platform on the Internet as learning or reward content. Learners earn points by watching learning videos and redeem the points for hours of watching bonus videos. The SDN controller will monitor the learner's network traffic and perform traffic control. System administrators can set their learning and reward video websites for different learners, as well as the point redemption ratio. This system uses a point mechanism to practice the spirit of reward-based learning, and prevents users from being distracted during the learning process by cutting off specific network traffic. Different from the lack of flexibility in existing learning systems, this reward-based learning system starts from the network level and can be used with videos from any learning platform on the Internet as learning or reward content, bringing a high degree of flexibility to the system and can be extended to other applications. 現今網路上有許多學習平台,提供高品質的學習教材影片,讓學習者可以自主學習。但是當學習者一旦連上網路,看了一小段教材影片後,常常被更具吸引力的非學習影片誘惑,沈迷其中並中斷學習。網路對學習者而言,表面看似有所幫助,卻也誘惑學習者偏離學習。面對此兩難困境,現今的學習系統僅能依賴學習者自身的專注力,並無法幫助學習者對抗誘惑。在學習者尚未建立足夠自制力之前,學習系統可以先採用他律的方式來建立學習習慣。本研究目的是設計並實作一個他律的獎勵式學習系統。網路上的影片與遊戲,不再是誘惑,而變成學習的獎勵。當學習者觀看學習教材累積一分鐘,之後就能獲得獎勵:觀看娛樂影片一分鐘。本系統使用軟體定義網路(Software-Defined Networking, SDN)技術,可以使用網路上任何學習平台的影片,作為學習或是獎勵的內容。學習者透過觀看學習影片賺取點數,並用點數兌換觀看獎勵影片的時數。SDN控制器會監控學習者的網路流量,並進行流量管制。系統管理者可針對不同學習者設定其學習與獎勵影片的網站,及點數兌換的比率。本系統使用點數機制以實踐獎勵式學習的精神,並透過對特定網路流量斷流的手段,避免使用者於學習過程中分心。有別於現存學習系統缺乏彈性,此獎勵式學習系統從網路層面著手,可以配合網路上任何學習平台的影片,作為學習或是獎勵的內容,為系統帶來高度的彈性,可延伸應用於學校、公司、家庭的領域。 |
