本研究旨在探討科學博物館辦理義工教育訓練的參考模式，以供各科學博物館在規劃及推展義工教育訓練方案之參考。爲達此研究目的，首先藉由文獻探討，建構義工教育訓練的理論模式，再選定三座科學博物館，進行深度訪談與個案分析，探討其推動義工教育訓練之實務作法。最後綜合理論探討與實務分析所得，歸納出科學博物館義工教育訓練的參考模式，並針對科學博物館辦理義工教育訓練提出以下的具體建議： 一、主管人員在義工教育訓練上的支持 二、確立義工教育訓練政策 三、建立激勵義工教育訓練的體系 四、營造義工學習氣氛 五、促進義工自我導向學習 六、培養推動訓練人員的專業規劃能力 七、尋找外聘師資管道，並建立內部師資資料庫 八、加強內部講師的教學與專業能力 九、增加訓練單位人員強化訓練組織凾能 十、落實需求分析制度 十一、建立成效評估制度，並徹底落實 十二、定期舉辦科學博物館義工訓練研討會 十三、實施科學博物館義工訓練評鑑與輔導，並給予適當的獎勵

This study was to establish models of training for volunteers of science museums and to provide suggestions for planning and developing programs of training. In order to achieve the goals, the researcher reviewed all the relevant literatures to establish a theoretical model. Three science museums were selected as the samples for understanding the implementation of training programs for their volunteers. Based on the discussion of the literatures and finding of the implementation, a model of training for volunteers of science museums was established and recommendations for training were proposed as follows: 1. To acquire the support from the mental staff on the training for volunteers. 2. To clarify strategies of the training for volunteers. 3. To establish the system of the training for volunteers. 4. To create a climate of learning for volunteers. 5. To urge the volunteers to use self-directed learning strategy. 6. To train the planning program skills of trainers. 7. To find the way to seek for teachers and build the data of teachers. 8. To strengthen the teaching and specialty skills of teachers from the science museums. 9. To increase the staffs of the training department and enhance its function. 10. To establish a system of needs assessment. 11. To establish an evaluation system and implement the evaluation. 12. To initiate the periodical workshop of volunteer training within the science museums. 13. Sufficient budgets, personnel and encouragement by rewards were important to the planning of science museum volunteer training programs.
