在自然科學、教育或是社會科學領域中,長期以來有許許多多研究理論被廣泛的發表,然而在教育或社會科學領域中較爲人所詬病的是,研究的準確性並不如自然科學般的實事求是,所以得到的研究結論也常較不爲人所信服。因爲探討的對象經常是人,而大家一致認爲心理層面的認知情況是因人而異,而且無法切實的使用儀器探知,只能藉由行爲、語言等外在表徵來解析其真札的意涵。但是在融入科技、醫學與生理方面的領域後,或許情況會有些許的不同。 認知生理學是最近數年才開始發展的,有部分原因是直到最近,科技才發展出能夠觀察生理內部的相關配備(如:USI、CT、MRI、PET等)。而這些醫學影像若能被運用在教育研究上,就能使得教育研究一方面具有質化的優點,又能具備自然科學實驗研究的準確性。本研究將對各種醫學影像的源起與應用作初步的探討,以及觀察這些相關儀器是否真的有如此強大的功能,能夠透視人類的內在思緒與認知層次。

英文摘要

Among natural science fields, they have been many theories to be discovered and generalized for a long time in daily usage. It, however, is hard to convince people to believe that education, or social science research has the same effectiveness as that of natural science does in terms of accuracy. The reason why it occurs is each person has unique personality, so he/she might think unanimously beyond measured by outside instruments to find out. Not furthermore to say, those attained data cannot be analyzed with social context such as meaningfulness from personal behavior, or language, etc. Until integrating technologies into medical sciences and physiologies, it makes something different in terms of attaining the reliable research results. Due to breakthrough of technology development, cognitive physiology started to develop usage of high techologies on mediacal science several years ago. People can observe inside physiology by instruments such as USI, CT, MRI, PET, etc. Once those medical images can be applied in educational research, it can promote the educational research as higher quality and more precise accuracy with scientific experiment methodologies. This study aims to explore applications of medical images in this preliminary study. Whether those relevant instruments can really act as we expected in terms of human inherent states of mind at cognitive levels.
