九十學年度起,國民中小學開始實施九年一貫新課程。新課程除了將過去切割零散的學科知識整合為七大學習領域,以融合性領域知識呈現外,更重要的是強調培育具有十大基本能力的國民素養。以往學科為本位的繁瑣知識教材,和偏重知識記憶的教學方式已成為過去式。現今的學習內容不再是單科知識,而是以學生的生活經驗為出發點,培養學生終身學習態度,具備帶得走的基本能力為目標。 以問題解決過程為基礎的專題導向式學習(project-based learning),一改過去強調教師為中心,而以學生為中心,其學習係以瞭解與解決問題的過程而獲致學習成果,希望能引起學生的學習動機,或對無法將學校所學應用到現實生活情境的學生有所幫助(詹雅婷、張基成,民90)。因此,本研究乃選定南一版國民小學自然與生活科技第四冊(四下)第一單元「電路DIY」為教學單元,採用準實驗研究法,旨在比較「以專題為基礎的教學與學習」和「傳統式的教學與學習」對國小四年級學童自然與生活科技領域學習成就之影響。

英文摘要

One-nine grades curriculum for elementary and junior high school, at the 90th academic year, focuses on the seven integrated domains of study and ten kinds of basic ability. The aim of such curriculum, moreover, is to cultivate a healthy citizen with the attitude for lifelong learning & the basic ability and practicability of knowledge. Project-based learning (PBL), one model for classroom activity, shifts away the teacher-centered lessons and instead emphasizes the student-centered ones. Such activity, moreover, provides opportunities for students to understand and solve problems. Thus, PBL could not only raise students' motivation but also help them apply their learning on real-world situations. Thus, the main purpose of this research is to study how the PBL can affect the academic achievement. The study employed quasi-experimental research and adopted Nanyi version Book four for Science and Technology as teaching materials.
