偏鄉地區民眾數位落差現況之調查研究－以高雄縣數位機會中心為例

本研究旨在探討偏遠鄉鎮數位機會中心地區數位落差的現況。本研究方法係針對高雄縣偏遠地區八所數位機會中心的居民為研究對象，並以自編的「偏遠地區數位機會中心民眾資訊應用現況問卷」做為研究工具，採隨機抽樣的方式來進行資料的蒐集。研究所得資料以SPSS13.0統計軟體進行百分比、平均數、標準差、t檢定及單因子變異分析，並從「資訊科技近用」、「資訊內容近用」、「資訊素養」等三個構面來探討偏鄉地區民眾在數位落差上的差異。 調查所得資料經統計、分析之後，主要的研究發現如下： 一、偏鄉民眾對數位機會中心的參與率低，參與意願高。 二、偏鄉民眾具高電腦擁有率，卻只有低使用率 三、偏鄉民眾具高社經地位者，具愈較高的資訊科技近用率。 四、偏鄉民眾居住在愈山地者，具愈較高的參與意願。 五、性別因素在「資訊素養」有顯著差異。

The purpose of this study was to understand the digital divide of the rural area residents in Kaohsiung county. The target populations were the residents who live in the rural area with Digital Opportunity Center in Kaohsiung county. The questionnaire consists of three dimensions, such as ”information technology access”, ”information content access”, and ”information literacy” was designed to survey the difference of digital divide in rural area. The research questionnaire was distributed by random sampling. There were 793 effective samples. The major findings of this study was depicted as follow: 1. The residents of rural area have a low rate of participation, but with a high rate of intention on DOC information curriculums. 2. The residents of rural area have a high rate of computer ownership, but with a low usage rate. 3. The residents of rural area with high level have a high rate of information technology access. 4. The residents of rural area have a high rate of intention to participate the activities of DOC. 5. There is a significant difference between different genders in information technology access dimension.
