超高分子量聚乙烯/棉(UHMWPE/C)包覆紗是利用中空錠子燃線機之技術所包繞而成。其中UHMWPE絲是採用荷蘭DSM Dyneema公司之SK65產品當成包覆紗之芯絲,國內生產之純棉紗當成鞘紗所包繞而成。本質驗爲達到能被利用戰術服之運用,必須將包繞紗之粗細控制在250丹尼、均勻度在11%、而比強度必須達到7~10g/d且要能易於染成各式各樣之顏色及具有相當之舒適性。而戰術服之舒適性則是以包繞紗線之伸長率、覆蓋率、含水率、回潮率及其觸感較爲重要。因此包繞紗性質之評估則以抗張伸度、比強力、支數、均匀度、含水率、覆蓋率、紗線色彩之變化等之性質來探討。其中拉張伸度、比強力是利用萬能強力試驗機測試;支數及含水率量測則是透過微量天平及烘箱利用重量法及公式運算而得,至於均勻度(U%)則以Uster Testing Instrument量測而得;紗線色彩之變化、紗線表面之觸感及其包繞角度則是利用實體光學顯微鏡觀察加以評估;覆蓋率則以電子顯微鏡觀察配合Pierce理論運算而得。本實驗UHMWPE/C包覆紗所選擇之參數爲棉紗支數及包覆撚度,棉紗支數從20'S~50'S',包繞撚度則在700TPM-1000TPM。從資驗結果顯示爲達到UHMWPE/C包繞紗比強力7~10g/d戰術服之要求,則需選擇棉紗支自放在30'S以上,包繞撚度則在700-1000TPM均可,又若考慮織造支數,則UHMWPE/C包繞紗之支數必須<250D,因此其最佳包繞支數爲50'S,而包繞燃度在700~1000TPM均可;又若考慮生產速度時,則選擇包繞撚度在700TPM最佳。但若考慮應用於戰術服之舒適性而言,則選擇1000TPM較爲適合。總之,UHMWPE經其包繞棉紗後可改善單獨用UHMWPE長絲紗之物性有:1.紗線之染色性,增加紗線色彩之變化。2.紗線伸長量可從原先之3.5%增加到12~17%。3.紗線之回潮率可從原先之0%增加到4~5%。4.紗線表面較粗糙觸感較好,較易於織造成布。從上述結果可知UHMWPE/C包覆紗有很好之染色性及舒適性,故可適合戰術服之應用。

英文摘要

UHMWPE/C wraps yarn is fabricated by hollow spindle frame. Among them of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) filament which adopts Holland DSM Dyneema company product SK65 was treated as core filament and cotton yam which is made in Taiwan factory was treated as sheath yam is accomplished. This experiment, in order to reach the application for tactics dress, must control 250 denier of yam count, 11% of evenness (U%) and 7~10 g/d of tenacity of UHMWPE/C wraps yarn, UHMWPE/C wraps yarn would be also wanted the color that can be easy to dye of all kinds and have suitable comfortableness. Those properties of tensile strain, tensile tenacity, yam count, evenness, moisture content, twist angle and cover rate of UHMWPE/C wraps are important properties for comfortableness of tactics dress, therefore those properties of VHMWPE/C wraps yarn should be investigated through this experiment. Whereas properties of tensile load, tensile strain and tensile tenacity should be tested by tensile testing machine, yam count and moisture content should be experimented by accurate balance, oven and calculation of formula, for yam qualities of evenness (U%) would be measured by uster testing instrument, while the properties of twisting angle. cover rate, color change and touch of yam surface should be observed by optical microscope, scanning electronic microscope cooperates with Pierce theory operation. Afterward, the cotton yarn count and the degree of twist number were chose as the experiment's parameters in this study. The region of cotton yam count was chose from 20 'S to 50 'S and degree of twist number was chose from 700TPM to 1000TPM (twist per meter). The results of UHMWPE/C wraps cover yam by experiment indicated that the tenacity and yarn count of UHMWPE/C wrap yarn for army tactics dresses request must reach more than 7~10g/d and less than 250D respectively, hence we shall choice above 30's of cotton yam count and 700~1000TPM degree of twist number while 50's of cotton yam count and 700TPM degree of twist number are the best choose for request yam count of weaving and manufacture performance. But we consider the comfortable properties of UHMWPE/C wraps yam for tactics dress, adapt 1000TPM degree of yam count is better. After all, UHMWPE by it wrap round cotton yam behind can ameliorate properties of UHMWPE filament yarn have: Summary, the properties of UHMWPE filament is improved by it wrap cotton yam behind have: 1. ameliorated dying of yam in which would promote changeable color. 2. Tensile extension of yarn can be increased from 3.5% to 12~17%. 3. Moisture content of yam can be increased from 0% to 4~5%. 4. Roughness on the surface of yarn is increased which would improve to weaving. From above mentioned results show that UHMWPE/C warps yam has good dye ability and comfortable properties which can adapt to tactics dress apply to.
