臺灣陣頭的分類方式,長期以來最為人所熟知的是從演出性質將其分為「文陣」與「武陣」兩種,直至西元1990年代以後,才有學者因文陣與武陣的分類方式,無法涵蓋臺灣所有陣頭,乃有從演出內容將其分為「宗教陣頭、小戲陣頭、趣味陣頭、香陣陣頭、音樂陣頭、喪葬陣頭、藝閣」七大類;從演出形式分為「載歌載舞的陣頭、只舞不歌的陣頭、只歌不舞的陣頭、不歌不舞純樂器演出的陣頭、不歌不舞純化妝遊行的陣頭」五大類;從性質分為「技藝性陣頭、音樂性陣頭、宗教性陣頭」三大類等的。而本文所要敘述的則屬上述的文陣、小戲陣頭、音樂陣頭、載歌載舞的陣頭、只歌不舞的陣頭、音樂性陣頭,且皆屬於南管系統陣頭,包括太平歌陣、文武郎君陣、車鼓陣、牛犁陣、桃花過渡陣、竹馬陣、七響陣。南管陣是狹義南管音樂的陣頭化,本文暫不列入探討中。本文將從源起、音樂角度再探這些南管系統之文障,音樂方面又分成「樂器」與「曲目」兩部份,而曲目又分成「南管系統曲目」、「民歌系統曲目」與「器樂曲曲目」三方面來做探討。 |

For a long time, the standard classification method of Taiwanese Jhentou is classification by its nature dividing the performances into ”Wunjhen” and ”Wujhen”. It was not until the 1990s when some scholars started to further classify them:Based on the performance content, they are classified into seven categories: ”religious jhentou”, ”small drama jhentou”, ”entertainment jhentou”, ”siangjhen jhentou”, ”music jhentou”, ”funeral jhentoll” and ”Yige”;Based on the performance format, they are classified into five categories: ”jhentou of singing and dancing”, ”jhentou with only dancing and no singing”, ”jhentoll with only singing and no dancing”, ”jhentou with only instrumental music and no singing and dancing”, and ”a pure masquerade-like jhentou without any dancing and singing”;Based on their nature, they are classified into three categories: ”performing arts jhentou”, ”musical jhentou” and ”religious jhentou ”This article aims to discuss Wunjhen, small drama jhentou, music jhentou, jhentou with singing and dancing, jhentou with singing only and no dancing, and musical jhentou. All these belong to the Nanguan system jhentou, including Taipingge Jhen, Wunwulangjyun Jhen, Chegu jhen, Niouli Jhen, Taohuaguodu Jhen, Jhuma Jhen and Cisiang Jhen. This article will not discuss Nanguan Jhen because it is the process of Nanguan music, in a narrow sense, transforming into jhen. This article will revisit these Wunjhen of the Nanguan System from their origin and music. The musical aspect is divided into two segments: ”musical instruments” and ”songs and melodies”.The second segment ”songs and melodies” is then classified into ”Nanguan System”, ”Folk Song System” and ”Instrumental Music” for further discussion. |
