〈昭君和番〉是一套廣為流傳的北管細曲,除了可以絲竹伴奏清唱外,亦是北管戲齣〈大和番〉中的主要唱腔。關於昭君出塞和番一事,最早見於《漢書》等記載,後世的雜劇、傳奇均有以此創作的作品。又現存明清諸曲本中,多刊有昭君出塞等事之曲譜,相關故事亦流傳於現存許多傳統地方戲曲當中。透過文本與曲譜的對照,可見細曲所唱的〈昭君和番〉一套與北管戲齣〈大和番〉有相當的關係,二者不但在不同抄本間有著總講與曲本不同形式的記錄,透過曲辭排列對照,亦可以解釋細曲的演唱分段,實與戲曲的進行有關,進而出現另一種對北管細曲與戲曲間可能存在的關係之思考。對照幾個輯於明清時期曲本所收的「昭君」曲文,除了可見到不同時期所產生的變化,亦可發現北管所傳〈昭君和番〉曲辭的可能來源。經由曲調與曲辭句式的排列,可見到全套樂曲是由集曲、單句複唱、與合尾等三種不同樂曲結構所組成,這三類的曲式構成亦常見於細曲大牌,與小牌、小曲,或是崑腔等其它類的細曲曲目有明顯不同,故暫且將之視為一套大牌曲目。 |

Zhaojun hefan is a popular vocal suite of beiguan refined songs. It is not only rendered in a concert accompanied by a silk and bamboo ensemble, but also inserted into a beiguan play entitled da hefan to form the main vocal part of this play. It talks about the story of Zhaojun who was sent to the Huns by the Han Empire for the purpose of reconciliation with the Huns. The earliest record of this story can be found in Hanshu (the History of the Han Dynasty). Later it was widely adapted for theatre genres zaju and chuanqi. Besides, similar stories and music are found in many Ming and Qing scripts in existence. Likewise, similar stories are also popular among various traditional regional theatres nowadays. Comparative studies of texts and melodies of Zhaojun hefan categorized in two of beiguan subcategories, the refined songs and the theatre, revealing their close relations. There are similarities in the documentation of libretti and scores and the setting of songs that is closely attached to the plots. Therefore the author considers that probably there is a connection between beiguan refined songs and theatre. In addition, the results of comparing texts of Zhaojun in several manuscripts of Ming and Qing dynasties not only manifest the transformations occurred during various periods but also reveal the possible sources of the text of Zhaojun hefan. Furthermore, by examining melodies and texts of this vocal suite, it is clear that the music setting of this suite features a linkage of several labeled tunes, musical phrase repeating, and similar ending formula. These characteristics are also common in the large labeled tunes of the refined songs but different from the music settings of other repertoires of refined songs, such as the small labeled tunes, small tunes and kunqiang. Therefore the author argues that the vocal suite Zhaojun hefan can be categorize into the repertoire of large labeled tunes in beiguan refined songs. |
