本研究係整理與分析《臺灣日日新報》與《臺南新報》中，關於始政三十年（日本治臺三十年）紀念活動的相關報導，以探討始政三十年的紀念活動和廣播節目中的表演活動內容。始政三十年紀念的藝文活動，展演了日本和中華、臺灣的各種藝能及西洋音樂，其內容較大眾化。臺灣首次的廣播也是始政三十年紀念活動焦點之一，如同其他的表演活動，廣播節目的音樂種類也十分豐富多彩。然而廣播節目與其他表演活動之間存在關鍵性的差別，在於主要的表演者。紀念活動的表演者包括業餘人士與藝旦，特別是藝旦多次在不同地方演出，扮演著活動之「花」。然而廣播節目的表演者未見藝旦，卻有不少教育者。因此可看出廣播節目的組成與教育者的參加與有關係，亦即蘊含有廣播「高尚健全的教育性的娛樂音樂」的意圖。

This study sorts out and analyzes articles on ”Taiwan Nichi-nichi Shimpo” and ”Tainan Shimpo” related to ”Taiwan Expo of Dominion for Thirty Years since the Inauguration”, and takes a general view of the performances for the thirtieth anniversary during Japanese Colonial Period in Taiwan's event and radio programs. In the commemoration event, various programs of Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese performing arts in addition to Western music were included. These contents were rather for general populace. The first wireless broadcasting in Taiwan was one of the attraction of the commemoration event, and the musical genre taken up by the radio program was a wide variety. However, there is a definite difference mainly between the performers in the event and in the radio program. A lot of amateurs and Taiwanese geishas participated in the event, and geishas often enacted especially as ”Flower” of the stage. However, geishas were not included in the performers of radio program, instead, a lot of educators took part in the program. It is thought that educators were related to the arrangement of radio program, i.e. they might have tried to broadcast ”refined, wholesome, and educational amusement music”.
