臺灣古典吉他教育自1939年胡樹琳先生在臺中開展教學以來，已歷經82年，其教育水準、教學品質、專業程度和學習群體的增長是有目共睹的。然而，不同於其他西洋樂器，古典吉他正式作為主修樂器進入大專院校音樂專業藝術教育領域是緩慢而艱辛的。探究臺灣古典吉他教育發展歷史，與古典吉他相關的期刊無疑是重要的史料之一。本文透過古典吉他相關的期刊，如1956年專門為古典吉他創刊的《吉他月刊》、1978年《吉他雜誌》、1981年《吉他音樂》及《千禾吉他通訊》、1991年《古典吉他樂訊》等，探究臺灣古典吉他教育在不同時期的歷史與發展，並透過臺灣古典吉他教育現狀的剖析，為臺灣古典吉他教育的未來發展方向提供實際的思考及建議。

Classical guitar education in Taiwan has been 82 years since Mr. Hu Shulin started teaching in Taichung in 1939. The growth of the education quality and student quantity are obvious to all. However, unlike other Western musical instruments, majoring guitar in college was a rarity in college music departments thirty years ago. To explore the development and history of classical guitar education in Taiwan, classical guitar journals are undoubtedly the significant historical references. This article emphasizes on the history and development of Taiwan's classical guitar education in different periods based on journals, which were published specifically for classical guitar, such as Guitar Monthly in 1956, Guitar Magazine in 1978, Guitar Music and Qianhe Guitar Newsletter in 1980, Classical Guitar News in 1990, etc. In addition, based on the analysis of the current situation of classical guitar education in Taiwan, this paper provides some suggestions and the directions to the future development.
