Purpose: To explore the correlation of scoring factors based on competitive abilities and competition performance of the 14 teams participated in the matches. So as to understand developing trend of modern world men's volleyball and provide reference basis for teaching, training and enhance competitive capabilities. Methods: This research was based on the statistics from 14 teams competed in the AVC 2019 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship in Taiwan. In additions, Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) from fuzzy theory was used in this research to determine the correlation between scoring factors and competition performance. Results: I. The results of this research can be summarized as follows: Spikes Score: The average score obtained from spikes was 11.9. The top team, JPN had average scores obtained from spikes of 13.7 respectively. SGP had the least average score obtained from spikes of 9.3. Blocks Score: The average score obtained from blocks was 2.2. The top team, JPN I had average scores obtained from blocks of 3.6 respectively. SGP had the least average score obtained from blocks of 1.8. Serve Score: The average score obtained from serves was 1.3. The top team, AUS had average scores obtained from serves of 1.8 respectively. SGP had the least average score obtained from serves of 0.4. Opponent Error Score: The average score obtained from opponents' error was 6.3. The top team, QAT had average scores obtained from opponents' errors of 7.1 respectively. HKG had the least average score obtained from opponents' errors of 5.3. II. In addition to the above findings, based on the grey relational analysis from the statistics of the 14 teams performed in the games, a preliminary conclusion could be: Spike was the most important technique to win the match with a correlation factor 0.883923. The second and third important techniques of winning the match were error from opponents and block with a correlation factor 0.878417 and 0.743801, respectively. Finally, serve was the least important technique among scoring factors with a factor 0.628519. Conclusion: According to the results above, the understanding of the world men's volleyball development trends, coaches and players have to be timely correction, change through training, so as to create better results for competition.
