失智老人及其主要照顧者使用社區式服務的狀況一直是各方所希望瞭解的，本文透過北部某縣市政府實證資料的收集，分析失智老人及其照顧者在使用社區式服務的情形，並探討照顧者在失智老人使用服務上的影響。結果顯示，教育程度愈高的老人與教育程度愈高的主要照顧者、與（孫）子女同住的老人、失智程度愈嚴重的老人，對服務的認知程度也愈高。另外，主要照顧者的年紀愈大、其教育程度愈高、訊息性支持愈多者、及對服務認知程度愈高者，使用社區式服務也愈多。本文建議，一方面要讓失智老人及其照顧者瞭解服務的內容，另一方面則是要針對教育程度較低的老人和家屬提供服務訊息，才可以提高對社區式服務的使用，減輕照顧者的壓力，達到社區式服務的目的。

It is a major concern for the governments of developed countries to understand the factors affecting dementia elders' and their caregivers' service utilization. The idea of ＂aging-in-place＂ wishes to keep the elderly dementia persons in their communities as long as possible by delivering community services. This study tried to analyze the factors associated with service utilization by dementia elders and their caregivers from a city-level secondary dataset. The results show that those elders with higher years of education, living with their children or grandchildren, whose dementia were worse, and whose caregivers were with higher educational levels were more likely to recognize the existence of the services. On the other hand, those elders whose caregivers were older and with higher educational levels, who received more informational support, and with higher levels of services existence recognition used more services.
