時代的進步,曾經在生活之中扮演重要角色的產品一一消逝甚至停產,回憶的媒介逐漸被取代。經過了數十年,現代人在忙碌的生活之中,往往會去收集舊時代的物品,來緬懷過去的美好。本研究將探討「復刻」經由重新製作販售,讓復刻後的產品雖與原先產品稍有不同之處,但藉由製造技術的進步,材質的改良,保有產品本身的經典精神。所以大部分的品牌設計師或是製造公司有時會重新推出所謂的復刻板,讓產品重新回到消費者的生活當中。若針對人們對懷念過去的情感加以運用,或許可讓經典的產品再次創造話題性以及銷售量,本創作以「復刻」的商業手法為概念,定義出「復刻」的主要條件並應運於產品設計上面。本文透過文獻探討以及案例的分析整理歸納,瞭解復刻的先決條件、市面上的復刻產品案例、復刻的前後差異性,進而歸納出創作產品的依據以及創作核心,並以聯想處方箋的的方式提出三件產品「復刻」的創作設計。本創作除了嘗試將產品復刻外,也加入新元素新觀念讓產品能夠融入現代的生活之中,不單單只是將產品重新復刻。保留產品的精神,藉由使用產品時,能夠勾起消費者的那段歲月的記憶。

英文摘要

With the advance in technology, some products that used to play an important role in our life are fading away or even discontinued. They are the media for our memory but are gradually replaced. Modern people in this busy society thus would collect products of the 80's and the 90's to remind themselves of the good old times. Therefore, some designers and manufacturers bring back the products again to make the products come back to consumer's life. They primarily take advantage of people's affection for the past so that they can draw people's attention again and boost the sales. My work is based on the commercial approach of reproduction by trying to define the major criteria of reproduction, and apply them on my product design. The article is about the analysis of related documents and pieces of works to understand the principle of reproduction, the related products on the market and the difference of the products before and after manufacturing. In this way, I can find out the core and principle of the design and products to design for the reproduction of my work. I not only reproduced some classic product, I add new elements to the product to make it assimilate into the modern life, hoping that using the product can make the consumers recall their memories of the old times. Additionally, the article discusses reproduction, retro and nostalgia, which many consumers cannot tell the differences among. They are similar but have different meanings. Reproduction is a form of a product recovery process. The new product is a little different from the original one. For example, manufacturers would use new machines more advanced and materials having been improved. The only thing unchanged is the spirit of the product.
