The noun music is transformed into the verb "musicking" (to make music) herein, emphasizing that music cannot be independent of people. It continues the community culture and is integrated with people in community practice. Its operation methods include: ensemble, singing, impromptu, composing, listening, etc., through "musicking" to create opportunities for group cognition, psychological and emotional exchanges. "Musicking" emphasizes history, health and fun. People convey listening, expression, support and cooperation via the structure of music. This research is the continuation of the author's third-year research content of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The first two years were related to community music care-related academic research and practice. In the third year, in addition to continuing the practice, leading and taiko arrangement of related music care activities, the researcher also considered how to develop community music care sustainably in the local area. As a result, she collected traditional chanting songs from the Penghu area, and tried to make them simple and easy-to-understand as well as imbued with local wisdom. In addition, she arranged the grass-rooted pop song Nongshi's drums rhythm pattern to create a local lively atmosphere. All music designs create a common musical language belonging to the community and its volunteers. This research method adopts a participatory observation method. In addition to focus group interviews and in-depth interviews, course discussions and community practice videos are important data sources in the research, in seeking to understand the practical strategies of community volunteers to learn about the essence of "musicking" and to promote community health. The research results also found that "musicking" can be used as a strategy for achieving interpersonal connection and cooperation for community volunteers, thereby creating opportunities for realizing deep connections. From self, to family and community, "musicking" creates a network of relationships, that is, through music putting people in the same physical environment, the grass-rooted pop song arrangement and the rhythmic design of traditional chanting provide a deep cultural transmission and sharing, serving as practical motivation to assist community volunteers to promote community health.
