產痛是每一位婦女在生產過程中所必然要經歷的，然而預期性的生產疼痛經常困擾著懷孕的婦女，擔憂自己是否有足夠的能力與體力撐過此一疼痛過程，能否有減輕疼痛或是不會疼痛又能自然生產，且不影響自己與胎兒的健康的方法，是目前多數孕產婦所關注的焦點。目前國內大型醫療院所約有30%的婦女生產時使用減痛分娩，因此本文將探討減痛分娩對於婦女與胎兒及新生兒的影響之相關研究，期望能藉由本文內容提供產科護理人員在臨床照護時的實證參考，促進母嬰安全，提升產科照護品質。
