隨著醫療科技進步、產前遺傳診斷技術精進，能早期篩檢出異常胎兒，卻也會讓懷孕婦女面臨終止妊娠抉擇的不確定性；本文描述一位懷孕20^(+5)週的孕產婦，產檢確定胎兒第九對染色體異常而行終止妊娠，對熱愛小孩的她而言始料未及，陷入悲慟情緒外也讓準備好迎接新成員的孕育期家庭遭逢巨變，如何協助個案調適是照護者很大的挑戰。筆者於2017年1月20日至1月22日，依Gordon十一項健康功能型態進行評估，藉由觀察、會談、溝通、身體評估技巧，進行個案身體、心理及社會等整體性評估。在護理照護過程中，與個案建立良好治療性人際關係，終止妊娠前給予詳盡解釋與指導，傾聽並同理其感受、持續陪伴並給關懷減輕焦慮；生產時，在旁陪伴、指導使用放鬆技巧及非藥物性處置減緩疼痛；生產後安排與胎兒獨處的獨立空間並尊重家庭文化習俗的儀式，提供嬰兒遺物給產婦留念，陪伴她面對哀傷過程。藉由此次護理經驗分享，提升專業照護品質，做為照護此類個案的參考。
