中文摘要 |
Purpose: The aim of this research was designed to investigate the correlation in health related fitness and the fitness differences between different BMI levels in college students. Method: 372 male students(age=18.42 ± 0.96 yr)of Lee-Ming Institute of Technology participated in this study. Body composition, explosion strength, muscular strength and muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiopulmonary endurance were evaluated. Subjects were divided into three groups: AG (BMI below 19), BG (BMI between 19.1-24) and CG (BMI above 24.1) by BMI level. The investigated values were analyzed by Pearson product-moment correlation and one-way ANOVA. Results: 1) BMI was negatively correlated with explosion strength, muscular strength (p<.01), but positively correlated with cardiopulmonary endurance (p<.01). 2) In BMI level: CG was significantly differences (p<.05) with AG and BG in flexibility, explosion strength and cardiopulmonary endurance. Conclusion: The students with high BMI level have poor physical related fitness performance. PE teachers should provide proper dietary and exercise prescriptions to students to promote better physical related fitness. |
