Interpreting the Philosophy of the YuDa University in Physical Education from the Perspective of "Devoting to Dao, Playing with Art" Stated in Confucius' Analects

體育是一種以大肌肉活動、蘊涵團結、合作、盡其在我等情操的教育，因此深為各級教育所重，更是育達商業科技大學教育重要的一環，本文試以論語＜志於道、游於藝＞的論點，以推演法和分析結構法探討育達商業科技大學體育教育的理念，和育達商業科技大學體育薰習教化的方式，進而探討體育教育之可行方法，並和論語孔子的講法相印證，而得到幾個結果：一、體育為一良好的教育方式，其形式是以大肌肉活動為主，內含合群、互助、道德規範等等，是極為完美的教育工具。二、在體育現象中，我們固然看到許多負面的情形，如為獎金、為勝利、為特別的目的等等，但經分析可知，此為外在因素向體育靠近而造成的紛擾，事實上體育就是體育而不是利益酬償，可見專業人士來擔任體育課是必要的。三、透過體育可以使教育達到最大的功效：正確的體育教學，可以指導學生相互友愛、克己合群、調治欲望而成彬彬君子，經下學而上達，成為完美的人。四、體育課、優質的體育教育，是技職教育中重要的一環教育。

Physical education is based on large mussel movement that implies ethical education including cohesion, cooperation, doing the best, and alike. Therefore, it is emphasized by all levels of education. Yu Da University sees physical education a very important element in its curricula. This article intended to study the philosophy and methodology about physical education of the Yu Da University from the perspective of ”devoting to Dao, Gaming with Art” stated in Confucius' Analects. And, to further explore feasible methodologies for physical education that can verify what stated in Confucius' analects. There are four results drew: (1) physical education is a perfecteducational method and its formation is centered on the movement of large mussel that implies teamwork, mutual help, and ethical prescription. It is an extremely perfect education instrument. (2) Although there were some negative phenomena such as prize, winning, and specific purposes, analysis reveals that these are external influences. In reality, physical education is physical education but financial or other benefit returns. Therefore, it is necessary to have professionals teach physical education. (3) Physical education can maximize the effectiveness for education. It teaches students loving each other, discipline and teamwork, being courtesy, achieving through learning, and becoming a perfect person. (4) Physical education classes and excellent physical is an important gradient in vocational high school education.
