1.泛池之原因，為過多之CO2溶於水中。2.活性碳吸附能力有限，不能解除泛池。3.石灰水可以解除泛池。4.山NV=N'V'公式，可以求得石灰水使用量。5.泛池開始二小時內，投以石灰水始能見效。

1. Large amounts of carbon dioxide dissolved in water cause the sudden mortality of fishes.2. Active carbon can not absorb completely the free carbon dioxide dissolved in water, so as to get rid of the sudden mortality of fishes.3. Lime water can neutralize the dissolved carbon dioxide to prevent the sudden mortality of fishes.4. If the amount of dissolving carbon dioxic1e in the water can be measured out, then, from the equation NV = N'V' the quantity of lime may be calculated.5. Lime water has to be added in the fish pond less than two hours after the sudden mortality has occurred.
