民國八十一年七月及八月間，調查人員在全省的十二個地區採集到15種青蛙，共156隻個體，然後進行胃內含物分析。結果顯示牠們所食的食物以昆蟲及蜘蛛為主，然而馬陸及鼠婦亦經常可以發現被捕食，結果也顯示出青蛙所捕食的昆蟲與牠們自身所處的棲息環境有關，樹蛙所食的昆蟲大都遠離水域，狹口蛙科的小雨蛙（Microhyla ornata）主要吃食螞蟻，有些青蛙個體為空胃，無法看出所食的昆蟲。

During July and August of 1992, investigators collected 15 species, totally 156 individuals of frogs from 12 localities. The frogs were dissected for stomach-content analysis. Results showed that frogs in Taiwan mainly fed on Anthropods, especially on insects and spiders. However, millipedes and sow bugs were frequently included in their food items. Also, the results showed there are some correlations between frogs habitates and the preys they took insects found from tree frogs were terrestrial species. Microhyla ornata mainly took ants. Empty stomaches were found in several individuals.
