媽祖生前曾經是「里中巫」為鄉民治病解惑。媽祖昇天之後,亦經常顯靈濟世。因應信徒需求,鄉里遂漸有巫覡能代言媽祖懿旨。台灣媽祖廟內素有男女乩童讓媽祖附身,為媽祖辦事。此一信仰習俗雖經現代化與都市化之後,至今未斷。當代台灣都市年輕世代信徒依然尋求媽祖的庇佑,而時尚媽祖女乩的出現可以說是一種新興現象值得研究。女乩比起男乩更受到年輕都市信徒的歡迎,因為女乩文雅時尚,打扮入時,穿著亮麗。尤其是運用年輕人擅長的新媒體科技,大量使用手機上的互動軟體,例如臉書、抖音、微信、微博等等,上傳女乩個人照片與濟世影片。女乩有如女網紅一般,吸引信徒並服務信徒。弔詭的是,女乩仍然遵循傳統儒家倫理規範做著勸世的工作,教導信徒做人處事的道理,以及在現代多變的都市社會中一套調適身心的方式,因此能夠在新舊世代之間傳承信仰。

|
Shamanism remains important in modern Taiwanese daily life even in Taipei city. Female shamans are even more welcomed than their male counterpart for their cosmetic out-looking and elegant performance. Visual experience is important in this internet era and female shamans' body attract more young clients (both male and female) through their skilled promotion broadcast on personal website and YouTube. This paper will display a self-called "Fashion Queen" female shaman's body experience, charming gesture, performance, and her urban clients. Further, this paper will describe the interaction between the female shaman and her clients, and how she solves the problems of her clients. Finally, this paper will try to explain the formation of this new style of shamanism in Taiwan.
