台灣地區地狹人稠，為因應居住空間之日趨減少，人們居住類型由平面式之居住型態，漸漸轉變成為立體式之集合式住宅型態。於此轉變之下，建築物內各居室空間對外開窗之面積卻相對減少，於是室內之排換氣也漸成問題。尤其以浴廁管道間為例，傳統浴廁管道間之排換氣方式因造價成本、設計簡單以及施工便利之考量，多以垂直排氣方式為主，但這樣之垂直設計方式，卻衍生出許多問題。例如：下方樓層應排出室外之空氣，卻經由浴廁管道間流竄至上方樓層，導致臭味滿佈，嚴重影響居住之生活品質；火災發生時煙霧經由浴廁管道間竄燒至其他樓層；甚至有時浴廁管道間，也會成為傳染病散播之途徑。但若浴廁管道間欲採用水平排氣方式，則必須於建築生命週期前期，即規劃、設計階段時期將其納入考量。因此，本研究希望藉由文獻回顧、法令層面以及實際案例之探討，說明如何於建築生命週期前期介入之方式，來設計浴廁管道間，並進而改善浴廁排氣通風不良之問題。

The slender person is thick in Taiwan, for adapting to habitable areas becomes more and more less. People living in plane areas that have become gather houses of three-D. For this change, square measures of foreign windows for indoor spaces in the building, but becoming more and more less oppositely. So it's the problem about exhaust and change indoor air. Especially for example, the duct in the bathroom. The exhaust and change way of oringingal the duct in the bathroom is due to build cost, simple design and convenient work. It mainly uses as the way of vertical exhaust, but this way has many problems. For example, when fire occurrence and infectious disease happen into the duct in the bathroom, they'll influence the life quality. If we want to use horizontal exhaust, we must consider let it design during the earlier stage of the building life cycle. Therefore this research hopes for bibliography the building Act and actually examples to deliberate and explain how to design the duct during the earlier stage of the building life cycle and improve the problem about bad exhaust in the bathroom.
