番石榴為週年生產且有外銷潛力之水果,果實具有果皮薄嫩、對低溫敏感等特性,易因不適當之採收後處理導致外觀受傷或污損,而降低櫥架壽命及品質。為提升番石榴貯運品質,本文針對番石榴果品特性、現行外銷採收後處理作業流程,介紹影響番石榴貯運品質之因素,以改善貯藏技術,確保果品於貯藏期間之品質,分散國內市場需求,並拓展外銷市場提升國際市場競爭力。 |
英文摘要 |
Generally, the guava (Psidium guajava L.) fruit can be harvested year-round in Taiwan and it has the potential for export. Guava fruit has the characteristics such as a thin peel tissue and sensitive to the low temperature. Various types of physical damages usually occurred during postharvest handling such as surface injuries, impact bruising or browning which lead to a result in losing quantity and quality on shelf life. This report revised on the relationships between guava fruit characteristics and the factors that influenced the postharvest fruit quality during storage and transportation. Suggestions proposed in this report were focused on the improvement of postharvest and storage techniques to obtain good quality fruit. Therefore, the domestic markets demand by short term storage will be filled, on the other hand, foreign markets will be explored by long term storage enhancement and thus the competitiveness of guava fruit industry will be improved. |
