國家發展委員會推估，台灣老年人口數占總人口數的比例持續擴增，預估於2039年突破30%，2070年更高達43.6%，超高齡社會以及人口紅利結束時點雖未改變，但總扶養比則自2020年的40.2攀升至2070年的102.0，生產能力者的沉重負擔可見一般。源起於人口老化之故，政府面臨高齡社會扶養負擔的挑戰，急需妥謀策略紓解。為發展完善之高齡健康促進等制度，衛生福利部自推動設立「社區照顧關懷據點」迄今，顯見已收「在地老化」之功效，落實社會參與、休戚與共和相互扶持等互助機制，同時體現世界衛生組織（WHO）「活躍老化」的政策架構，藉由「健康、參與以及安全」三大面向，提昇高齡者之生活品質。研究顯示，活動參與、健康狀況及以人際互動等，實為影響長者生活滿意度的關鍵因子。據此，本研究目的在於探討社區關懷據點長者的社會參與對於生活滿意度的影響。研究受測者納入標準以65歲（含）以上，共52名台南市東區關懷據點長者為研究對象，進行為期3個月，每週3次，每次50分鐘的課程或活動，有效問卷50份，男性22份，女性28份，以次數分配、Pearson相關以及成對樣本t檢定等方法進行資料處理。結果顯示，長者的社會參與對於其生活滿意度呈顯著相關（p<.05）。最後，根據研究結論，提出相關建議，作為相關機關及未來研究之參考。

The National Development Council estimates that Taiwan will enter a super-aged society by 2025 and that the proportion of elderly people in the total population will continue to rise, exceeding 30% in 2039 and reaching 43.6% by 2070.Taiwan's population is aging rapidly owing to rising life expectancies and low birthrates. It became an aging society. Organization reports active aging as the process of optimizing health, participation, and safety to improve quality of life as people grow older. The Taiwanese government's policy orientation for long-term care is to encourage aging in place. Therefore, this study aims to identify the relationship between social participation and life satisfaction f among older adults. For analyses, Data on 50 people aged 65 years and above were extracted in Tainan (N = 50).Subjects were enrolled in a 3-mounth Community care stations program. The data were analyzed using the SPSS. A paired t-test is designed to compare the means of the same group. There was a significant correlation between social participation and life satisfaction. The results indicated that the social participation has an important role in life satisfaction among the older adults.
