Dance-Base Narrative Therapy is based on Dance/Movement Therapy to use the body as the medium of psychotherapy and integrates Narrative Therapy to facilitate transformed questions and dialogue. Taking "Qi-Cheng-Zhuan-He" as the framework, which means the process of exploring, enriching, transferring and integrating; viewing dance and movement as the stage where body memories is transformed into healing power; using dance and dialogue to initiate and activate body memories, and then to perceive experiences, as a way to accompany people to find their own strength through psychological dilemmas. However, the process of translating body language into verbal language requires a specific structure of reference. This article uses narrative analysis as the writing method, and uses Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) as a group of vocabularies to describe motions, which combined as a framework of reference for reading, listening, and translating body stories. Dance-Base Narrative Therapy draws skeleton of nutrients from the theories and methodologies of Dance/Movement Therapy and Narrative Therapy to develop its unique working model. This article discovers that the four aspects of Body, Effort, Shape, and Space, can provide a framework for understanding and analyzing movements, which are the basis for guiding, creating and deconstructing old movement repertoires. It also provides a structure of reference to translate the meaning of the body for Dance-Base Narrative Therapy, which sufficiently interpret the memory motivated by actions and activate its own healing power in the questioning method of narrative therapy. |
