關注新竹縣重污染河流客雅溪的污染狀況，並探索其污染源對周圍居民健康的影響。基於健保資料庫，分析對比客雅溪流域居民與台灣整體民眾的高發疾病分佈與發病率的差異，通過對相對風險的計算，得到客雅溪流域居民明顯高發的多個疾病類型。並初步探討這些疾病與環境污染可能的關聯性。

Concerned about the heavy pollution of Keya Stream basin in Hsinchu County, and explored the impact of pollution sources on the health of the surrounding residents. Based on the database of health care, the differences of distribution and incidence of high incidence of diseases among the residents of Keya Stream basin and the whole population of Taiwan were analyzed. Through the calculation of the relative risk, we got the multiple types of diseases which were obviously high in the residents of Keya Stream basin. And to explore the relationship between these diseases and environmental pollution.
