Because of the growing number of international companies, employees with high levels of cultural intelligence are crucial to succeed. The aim of this study was to examine the moderating effect of foreign language communication anxiety on the relationship between cultural exposure (breadth and depth) and cultural intelligence. The data was collected from Taiwanese students who have experienced studying abroad. Hierarchical regression was used to run the analysis and the data consisted of 40 valid responses. The outcomes presented that only depth of exposure was positively correlated to cultural intelligence and this relationship was negatively moderated by foreign language communication anxiety.

由於國際企業的數量上升，獲得成功對於富含文化智能的員工至關重要，這項研究的目的是調查外語溝通焦慮對於文化揭露（深度與廣度）與文化智能關係的調節作用。問卷資料來自於有海外留學經驗的台灣學生；此研究使用層次迴歸分析分析有效的40份問卷資料。研究結果顯示只有文化揭露的深度與文化智能有顯著的正向影響；而此正向影響受到外語溝通焦慮的負向調節效果影響。
