運動視覺係指運動中觀看的能力，運動員視覺能力的優劣，對運動表現有很大的影響（Loran & MacEwen, 1997;Wilson & Falkel, 2004）。在運動競賽中，運動員須視球體或人體的動向而隨之作調整，因此視覺刺激的強度及感覺器官的靈敏度，會提供關於空間的方向性、時間點、預知性、穩定和動態平衡等訊息，直接影響反應時間及準確性，進而影響運動技能表現的品質，可見運動視覺對於運動表現而言十分重要。本文希望透過對運動視覺的內容與相關研究成果進行介紹，期望提升相關單位及運動教練能重視這部份的訓練，以提升各運動項目的競爭力；並指出未來運動視覺能力研究可行的發展方向。
