Media fan is an important issue of the research field in Media Sociology and Culture Study. Some studies of fandom in popular culture indicate that the action in media fandom is very complex on the consuming of media text and role identity. By using the viewpoint of life course, this study collect the life experience from media fans, and try to interpret the social and psychological needs which lead the audience to engage in the media fan, and become the actor in media fan. Based on the narrative interview method, the study select one typical case from four cases about Korean Pop music fans, and translating the media fan experience from oral autobiographical narration. By way of the interpretation of narration, the study show that the key social and psychological need in becoming the role of media fan, which is the meaning structure for maintaining long-term emotional relationship in intimate friend membership. Finally, the paper suggests the further research can to focus the problem about the relationship between media experience in childhood and the becoming in role of media fan.
