英文摘要 |
Large number of parametric design (PD) methods are methodically different concept design approaches and are not flexible enough for easy regrouping parameters for a specific PD task. Those difficulties could be explained by absence of function based physical models for both conceptual and parametric design objectives. A novel conceptual design (CD) method based on dependence of mechanism and function implies unified steps for achieving a novel mechanical configuration per design tasks. That's a matter of practical interest further development and application of CD methods for PD tasks by building virtual kinematical chains including parameters for dimensional synthesis and force analyzes. An example of conceptual and parametric design for a ratcheting adjustable wrench is disclosed for definition of a set of design parameters and for demonstration of the proposed method. |
