This paper presented a preliminary research on the transmission mechanism of a new flapping-wing device, called "wearable flapping-wing device". We designed a new conceptual mechanism after those studies on the main characteristic parameters and the particularity to this type mechanism. Our conceptual design was compared with the bionic flapping-wing machine reported in the literature. Then kinematic analysis and simulation were carried out for this transmission mechanism to verify the rationality of our design. The research results of this paper will form the basis for subsequent research in this field, and hopefully to a working prototype. |
