This research presents a controller design of a Compressed Air Driven Hydraulic Motor System. The possibility of driving hydraulic motor by compressed air had been proved by former study, however, the mechanical control subsystem used in previous study is lacked of flexibility to different situation. Hence in this research, an electric control is introduced into main system which provides various modes of selection while system under operation. It was found that the electric controller increases the speed of phase change and the amount of compressed air leakage is reduced. The use of the controller improves the efficiency. |
