This paper introduces the method for calculating the contact stress in a meshing cycle and flexural stress of the new type composite modified gear. At the same time, examples of different tangential and radial modified gears are presented. It provides the necessary foundation for the study of new type of variable tooth thickness gear based on composite modification. In addition, ANSYS finite element method simulation was applied for contact stress and bending stress analysis to verify the correctness of the theoretical calculation. |
