This paper intends to characterize the workspace of an 3 RRR planar parallel mechanism used as robot structure, based on its dimensional parameters of links. This characterization of the mechanism workspace depending on the dimensional parameters can be useful in mechanism designing accorded to some functional particularities and also can help in avoiding singular configurations. |
