英文摘要 |
Problems and faults in gear unit operation are caused by different damages; a crack in the tooth root, which often results in gear unit operation failure, is probably the least desirable among them. Signals produced by a faultless gear and by a gear with a crack in the tooth root, caused in real operating conditions, are used for fault detection analyses and methods. A test plant was used to measure these signals. The presence of a crack can be determined by monitoring vibrations. The impacts that a crack in a single-stage gear unit has on vibrations are dealt with. A fatigue crack in the tooth root brings about significant changes in tooth stiffness. Changes of other dynamic parameters are more associated with other faults. To analyze a non-stationary signal, time frequency analysis tools, such as wavelets analysis, were used. |
