由於環境監測技術的進步,透過地球觀測衛星遙測的方式,以進行大範圍分析或探勘地表環境資源已是重要的趨勢。其中,全球衛星導航系統(GNSS)所發射的L波段訊號,除了用於定位、導航和計時外,藉由分析其直射與反射訊號的變化,同樣可作為觀測地球環境的工具,這種技術即稱為GNSS-R。GNSS-R技術因全球衛星導航系統覆蓋範圍廣、近即時的特性,不管是在海洋、陸地或是冰川,對於全球環境監測都是一個良好的方式。本文透過文獻探討的方式,介紹了GNSS-R技術的原理、方法以及近年來相關的嶄新應用層面,例如海平面高度觀測、海水表面風場推算、地表土壤含水量或冰川冰層厚度等等。
