In recent years, with the continuous development of FinTech, the service content of FinTech in the banking industry has embedded technology to promote the digitalization and intelligence. And consumers can enjoy a better financial service experience, from physical to virtual, from time-limited to ubiquity. Financial technology has brought unprecedented challenges to the banks in Taiwan. This study explored the impact and effect of payment system and consumer finance of FinTech on the banks in Taiwan from the aspect of asset, equity, interest income and risk by seemingly unrelated regression model. The empirical analysis results showed that the FinTech did affect the sample banks in this article, but it prompted the banks to transform and innovate.
