本研究旨在探討園藝治療活動對日間照顧中心老人成功老化的影響。採用不等組前後測設計，立意抽樣40位日間照顧中心老人，20名老人參與實驗組的園藝治療活動，另外20名老人列為控制組，不進行任何介入。實驗前後進行正向情緒及成功老化的測量評估。測量數據使用共變數分析以及潛在成長模式分析。並訪談參與活動的志工。統計分析結果顯示：園藝治療活動可以有效的提升日間照顧中心老人的正向情緒、成功老化。訪談發現園藝治療活動是一個意圖性的正向活動，提供適切的刺激水準，幫助老人投入生活中。根據研究發現，對園藝治療活動在日間照顧中心的實施及未來研究提出建議。

The main purposes of this study were to explore the effects of horticultural activity on successful ageing of older adults living in day care centers. Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design was used in this study, and we recruited a convenience sample including 40 elders to carry out experiment. During experiment period, 20 elders participated in horticultural activity, another 20 elders participated in a control group. These participants completed measures of positive emotion, and successful ageing. The obtained data was analyzed by ANCOVA, and latent growth curve models analysis to examine effects. Results showed effects of horticultural activity on elders' positive emotion, and successful ageing was significant. The results of qualitative interview showed the horticultural activity is intentional positive activities which provide appropriate level of stimulation for active engagement with life. Based on these results, the recommendations for horticultural activity development in day care centers, and future research were submitted.
