本文利用市售價格便宜且易於取得的簡易材料，設計組裝成微型化學實驗裝置，分別在高雄縣與屏東縣之離島、偏遠、山地或城鄉之國中辦理師生微型化學實做研習活動。先以極具趣味性及超『ㄅ一ㄤ、』的微型實驗加以演示，如免電池酒精槍、微型掌心雷、微型水火箭、微型氫氣槍、水中火泉、化學魔術畫板、微型氫氧混合爆鳴器及往斜坡上滾的雙錐球體。另以氣體製備(包含氫氣、氧氣、二氧化碳)、酸鹼滴定、木材乾餾等微型化學實驗裝置供作師生實做，製作微型化學實驗教具，藉以增加學校實驗設備及師生親自動手做實驗的機會，以增進學生學習理化的興趣和動手做實驗的操作能力，成效非常好，頗獲各承辦學校校長及參與研習的師生一致肯定。此些微型化學實驗設計配合九年一貫課程中自然與生活科技領域的教學，應為一非常實用且能提高學生學習化學的興趣與教學成效的微型教學，頗值得推廣。

This paper presents a demonstration and operation of how to apply the microscale apparatus in a workshop for 40 junior high school teachers and 200 students from offshore islands and mountainous regions of Pingtung and Kaohsiung Hsien area. The purpose is to increase the manual operational abilities of these teachers in the microscale experiments by utilizing low-cost materials. First, The workshop conducts a series of interesting demonstrations such as alcohol gun, palm mine, water rocket, hydrogen gun, under water fire fountain, chemical magic drawing plate, hydrogen/oxygen mixed exploding apparatus and a double cones uphill along the ramp. Next, come some more elaborate hands-on experiments including microscale hydrogen generator, oxygen generator, acid-based titrator, and dry wood distillation, for teachers and students so that they might have more opportunities to practice themselves in doing these experiments. Microscale teaching with extraordinary practical microscale laboratory apparatus is invaluable and worthy of popularizing for nature and life science laboratory courses for the coming nine-year sequence curriculum in the junior high schools. This workshop is just the beginning!
