馮道是一位備受爭議的歷史人物，他在朝代頻繁更替的晚唐五代時期，歷事六朝十二主，故史家們對其有褒貶不一的評論。本文乃欲從馮道之歷代評議中，尋繹史家立論的主張及緣由，期望能在爬梳不同史論的同時掌握馮氏為人稱善與非議之所在，並考究其因以還歷史人物一個公允之論述。正文先就馮道的生平事逝，從「刻苦檢約，救時拯物」、「積極諫諍，舉賢用才」、「博學能文，刊印儒典」三方面概略敘述；其次，整理十家史論，客觀地呈現各家的論述主張；最末，茲就「忠臣死節」或「生民為重」的評議標準，探析史評歧異。

Feng Dao was a controversial historical figure who served 12 emperors in 6 dynasties during the period of Late Tang & Five Dynasties when the dynasties changed and replaced frequently, so the historians had mixed reviews towards him. In this study, I expect to find out the supportive propositions and reasons of the historians from the historical reviews on Feng Dao, expecting to grasp how Feng's was complemented and blamed and investigate the reasons while exploring different historical reviews, in order to return this historical figure a fair discussion. In the main body, firstly, the brief introduction of Feng Dao's life story was made from three aspects, including ＂Work hard to save the current politics ＂, ＂Positive dissuasion and talent selection＂, ＂ Knowledgeable to be printed in Confucianism Canon＂; then, ten historical reviews were sorted out to objectively present the propositions of the historians; finally, based on the review standards of ＂ministers with complete loyalty＂ and ＂live for the people＂, I explored and analyzed the differences of the reviews from different historians.
