複雜解離症，即解離性身份障礙（dissociative identity disorder）和其他特定的解離症（other specified dissociative disorder）被普遍認為是跨越文化、與心理創傷相關的臨床診斷。本文概述創傷與解離領域之重要發現，為華人精神健康工作者和研究員提供一個全新回顧。在複雜解離症之診斷、盛行率、風險因素、評估工具、臨床表現和治療等方面，本文皆有所討論。筆者提醒，華人社會裡的解離症可能比想像中普遍，未來有必要進行更多研究，以探討解離症在不同華人社群裡之狀況。
