胺碘酮(amiodarone)是目前廣泛使用的抗心律不整藥物，視神經病變是其可能造成的副作用之。視神經病變平均發病期間為使用胺碘酮(amiodarone)達9個月時，男性和藥物服用時間較長者有比較高的發病機率。胺碘酮(amiodarone)相關之視神經病變臨床表現包括漸進緩慢地雙眼視力喪失合併視神經盤水腫。治療方法為在不影響內科病情的前提下予以停藥。停藥後，大部份病人的視力和視野缺損會有部分改善或維持穩定，約有20%病人仍舊有視力惡化之可能。
