患高泌乳激素血症之婦女常伴有不孕症，如以cabergoline治療，能提高懷孕率。一旦月經過期，檢查確定懷孕後，便應考慮停止使用cabergoline，並告訴患者，不會影響預後，亦不會增加胎兒異常的風險。懷孕後停藥，腦下垂體腺瘤多不會增大，如無頭痛或視力等症狀者，亦無需做泌乳激素或磁振造影檢查，也可正常哺餵母乳。有部分患者，高泌乳激素血症在產後有長時間的緩解。
