修格蘭氏症候群(Sjögren's syndrome)是第二常見的系統性自體免疫疾病，特徵是唾液腺和淚腺有T及B cells浸潤，常導致口乾及眼乾，是牙科醫師最需要關注的自體免疫疾病。由於口乾除了造成患者蛀牙率高、易發生念珠菌感染之外，也會影響口腔傷口癒合、味覺喪失、影響進食與說話，大大影響生活品質，因此除了急性期的牙科照護及塗氟外，亦需要長期且規律的牙科支持性治療，漸漸緩解患者口內症狀，使生活品質趨於正常。
